What Industry has been saying about Reed-Custer High School's Industrial Technology Program.
Mark - I don't usually write these kinda notes but I see your posts in my feed and they always brighten my day. It gives me hope that woodworking skills will survive!!! I really applaud your work in training another generation of woodworkers, and helping young people connect the dots from high school into the real world of career opportunities...so important. Really great stuff...keep up the great work!

Mark Smith is doing a phenomenal job in educating his students through technology and engineering to prepare them for future careers and further education. He works tirelessly to provide all students with academically sound and industry relevant educational opportunity. It is Mark’s mission to ensure that his students have a clear understanding of the challenges they will face in the world of work and the determination needed to overcome any obstacle.
In our video here you will see one of his production class students machining pocket holes in cabinet sides. You’ll also see his student’s finished knockdown entertainment centres, cabinet job, long boards and guitars. You can also see the carving ability of his students in their designs! This is amazing work and we’re beyond proud that our software is being used to help guide the future of America’s workforce.

It is so exciting to see that there is a school system that is truly helping kids to be better equipped for their future. The skills and knowledge young men and women are learning from this program is truly invaluable in whatever they choose to do in life. Way to go Mark Smith and Reed Custer High School.

The USA has a shortage of skilled trade workers and Mark's program is WAY under appreciated. I have never seen this level of skills coming from such young people until now.
